If this is true, I must disappoint you and tell you that you could not be more mistaken. There are in fact numerous types of engineering, and some of them we will discuss today in order to make it easier for you to understand this discipline.

As it has been mentioned in the text, engineering is a scientific discipline, but it is also art and profession. Engineering applies scientific theory to design, develop and analyze technological solutions, or in other words it’s how you make stuff.

Five Important Types Of Engineering
1. Computer Engineering
Computer engineering is actually a sub discipline of electrical engineering, which studies and applies electricity, electronics and electromagnetism. You are probably already familiar with the term computer engineering, as it is one of the most wanted branches of study and the most desired career. Furthermore, people who do computer engineering can specialize in software engineering, hardware engineering or network engineering.
2. Aerospace Engineering
Aerospace engineering uses different branches of engineering such as electrical engineering and mechanical engineering in order to be able to apply these principles to aerospace systems, such are aircraft and spacecraft, as well as to design, develop and sustain ground control systems. Aeronautics and astronautics are branches of aerospace engineering.
3. Mechatronics Engineering
